Children and Youth
As a church family, our vision for our Kids and Youth ministry is:
To raise young people that..
- know Jesus' love,
- grow in it continually, and
- show others to do the same
As part of making our vision happen, we offer age-appropriate Bible teaching during the 11am Sunday Services and the 10am Combined Sunday Services (every 4th Sunday) for the following age groups:
- Scramblers: 0-3 years old
- Climbers: 4-7 years old
- Explorers: 8-15 years old
Youth 16 years old and upwards are invited to remain in service to receive Bible teaching.
Current Bible Curriculum:
Our Scramblers have a time for free play, a Bible story (and sometimes a Bible song), prayer.... and snacks.
We teach our Climbers and Explorers through Bible stories, songs, crafts, games/exercises, short videos, and memory verses. We use the Click series as the basis for our teaching. Our Climbers have been learning about cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus and our Explorers are learning about Jesus being God.
Other activities that make our vision happen:
- Youth Worship Band Training
- Five-a-side Football for over 15 year olds
- Tiny Tots Toddlers group for 0-3 year olds
- Frimley Church of England Junior School visits
- Links with other local kids and youth community organisations
Our Team: All of our team members are DBS-checked and have been trained in accordance with the Diocese of Guildford Safeguarding Policy.
