Alpha Courses
Our Alpha courses provide a friendly and informative introduction to the Christian faith and are held regularly throughout the year.
Small Groups
We have a number of small groups that meet during the week for Bible study, discussion, prayer, friendship and fellowship.

New singers are always welcome to join the choir who help to lead our 9.30am Sunday worship and other special services such as weddings and the Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols. Choir practice is on a Thursday evening.

Keep fit and make friends along the way by joining our church walking group.
Social Events
A variety of social events including a New Year’s Party, Parish Lunch, Harvest Supper, Spring Fête and Autumn Fayre take place throughout the year.
Groups and Activities for Children
Créche
For parents or carers with young children a crèche is available during the 9.30am Parish Communion Service on Sunday’s.
Sunday Club
For children aged 5 years and above, the Sunday Club meets in the Church Hall (adjoining the Church) at 9.30am on Sunday mornings while the Parish communion Service is taking place. Typically there are about 15-20 children in the club. There is a range of activities, including stories from the Old and New Testaments, activity sheets and the ‘Kids Zone’ scheme of activities. The children join the 9.30am Service for a prayer of blessing and for the final song which is specially chosen to be ‘child friendly.’ The Sunday Club is run by a group of enthusiastic and dedicated adults who have been fully certified to work with children.
Uniformed Organisations
The Church has strong links with the local Beaver, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guide groups. We hold several youth ‘Parade’ Services for our local uniformed groups each year including Remembrance Sunday. These services are both planned and led by the different groups themselves who time and again come up with creative themes and ideas to make these services interesting and thoughtful.
Christmas Eve Crib Services
At 4.30pm and 6.00pm on Christmas Eve we hold two very popular family friendly Christmas Services. Carols are sung and the figures of Mary and Joseph, the Shepherds and the Wise Men process into church to create our nativity scene. This service is so popular we have to hold it twice to get everybody in!
Easter Workshop
From 10.00am to 12.00pm on Good Friday we hold a morning of craft activities to share the Easter Story in a fun and relevant way for children aged 5-12 years.
Youth Club
For those between the age of 10 and 14 years the Youth Club meets once a month, usually on the last Friday of the month, for a varied programme of activities. These include clay model evenings, BBQ’s, archery, swimming, indoor rock climbing and ice skating.
For insurance and Child Protection reasons parents are asked to transport the youngsters to the venue and to collect them afterwards.
Please contact the Parish Office for further details.
