The Route From Farnborough North Station to St Andrew's Church
From Farnborough North Railway Station proceed along Farnborough Street (which then changes its name to Rectory Road) for about 0.7 km (800 yards), and go under a railway bridge.
Turn RIGHT (East) into Coleford Bridge Road and go STRAIGHT over the double min-roundabout going over the A331.
After about 0.8 km (830 yards) bear LEFT into Hamesmoor Road.
Travel along Hamesmoor Road for about 0.6 km (700 yards) to the mini-roundabout at the "Miners Arms" public house and turn LEFT onto B3411 (Sturt Road).
Proceed for about 400m (430 yards), over the railway bridge. and St Andrew's Church is the second entrance on the RIGHT.
A More Interesting (and Shorter) Walking Route (1.6 km, 1 mile)
From Farnborough North Railway Station cross over the level crossing at the Station (if you are on the 'town side' platform), taking heed of the warning signs and warning lights.
Follow the path up and over the A331 Blackwater Valley Road and over the Blackwater River, into the Parish of Frimley Green & Mytchett.
The path then goes between two lakes (which are used by anglers) and arrives at another level crossing.
Again, cross with great care, using the 'Stop, Look and Listen' method, and proceed STRAIGHT along The Hatches, bearing RIGHT at the triangular junction with Cross Lane, until you arrive at The Green.
Bear RIGHT and go along the side of The Green, past the Frimley Green Methodist Church.
Turn RIGHT into Sturt Road and go under the railway bridge.
The entrance to St Andrew's Church is on the LEFT, immediately after the Vicarage.
